My life's awareness has brought me to a point of understanding that I am being lived
"awake" and that I am journeying towards another existence, for lack of a better word.
In this life I know it only as death, yet I know we do not die, only the body does.

I want to know what is the purpose of all of this awareness if at the end we cease
to be here. Which raises another question. What happens when the body dies?

I have so many questions I have asked over the past years. Why do people die so
young? Why are children raped, beaten and murdered? What is the purpose of suffering?
Oh Dearest Daughter of the Light, it is with great joy and delight that we are called before you this day, for we see before us a true, pure, compassionate spirit that is doing the best that she can to be in this world. We see a pure, loving, sensitive heart who finds it so challenging to be existing in what appears to be a cruel, dense, challenging Earthly plane. And yet we say to you Dear One that all of the treasures of your heart and all that you yearn for awaits you on this Earthly plane and all you have to do is stand up tall, put your shoulders back to open up your heart, to let your Light shine out into this world and to say, “I deserve to be here. I deserve to be joyous. I deserve to be full of Light. I deserve to be existing on this Earthly plane with ease and grace. I deserve to have a life full of abundance and joy and prosperity. I deserve it all.” Believe it Dear One, for it is true. But when we look upon you we see a soul that is burdened with belief systems – belief systems that are no longer of service – belief systems that come from eons ago. Belief systems that come from lifetimes past and from this lifetime in the present. And we say to you Dear One, it is compulsory – it is of the utmost importance – that you find these belief systems within your heart. Look at them and understand how outdated they are – how untrue they are – how harmful they are to your spirit as you move forward in this lifetime. We encourage you to – with the deepest urgings of our heart – to do this exercise, to find those belief systems within you so that you may expel them as a child would expel a meal that is so distasteful that it cannot be tolerated. That is how these belief systems are affecting your soul at this time. It is like you are a withered rose, a rose that has so much beauty and love and joy to offer – a beautiful aroma that will pull people in, but these belief systems are keeping it all from manifesting. And they are also very harmful and destructive to your spirit at this time. And so we say to you Dear One, this is the greatest need for your life at this time, is to allow those to be expelled and to be thrown away. You may use self-hypnosis, you may use any system that you can think of that will pull and allow them to be freed because it is of vital importance to you at this time.
And so it is we say to you that the other aspects of your question stem from these unhealthy belief systems. To ask why children are murdered and raped and why there is suffering is simply a reflection of the suffering that you are bringing into your own soul at this time based on the belief systems that you are hanging onto and that are keeping you from allowing your light to shine forth. Dear One, you are a brilliant, radiant, deserving child of God. There is no need to hide and pretend to be small. There is no need to be insignificant on this Earth. There is no need to play small. It is time to stand forth in the Light and to claim your right to be brilliant, intelligent, happy, joyous and prosperous. And so we choose not to give any energy to your question of suffering, for we do not want to support that aspect of who you are in any way. We hope that you see this response as a gift and we hope that you realize that the only suffering in this Earth is the suffering that comes from choice. It used to be that suffering came from lessons, but that is no longer the truth. Suffering at this time comes only from choice. We ask you to choose differently Dear One. It is, of course, yours to choose.

I had an interesting experience a couple of weeks ago when I was feeling so unsettled, staying with 3 different friends in the matter of a week and still getting up to go to work every day, while waiting for my new home to be ready for me. One evening I found myself alone in my friend's apt. so decided to sit and meditate. I was surrounded by my clutter and that of her daughter's who also decided to come and visit for the same month that I was staying with her (she is such an angel :") The moment I closed my eyes I was connected with a higher source and the love that came through moved me to tears once again. I realized in that moment that, regardless of where we are in this world or what our surroundings are, when we close our eyes and connect with our spirit all the worldly matters disappear and all there is is love which is, I believe, the Truth. It was a beautiful place to be, beyond the illusion of earthly strife.

Now I am very gratefully settling into my new home which is offering me a new journey ~ how to let love in on the physical plane. I'm always excited to have a new trail to walk on :")

I need to apologize for neglecting my post! I am in the middle of moving and it has been consuming my time and energy. I hope to be back to Lovespeak and all that it has to offer early in September with new passion. Here is another answer that I thought you may enjoy ...

Why is it we forget who we were before we became embodied in human form?

Greetings Dear One. Good question indeed. Why is it that humanity must forget? It has been a question that has been asked many times by those who so yearn to know the path – to have the path laid out before them, believing that it will lead them to their purpose in this lifetime; believeing that it will make it all easy for them to come and be of service and be all that they were meant to be. And yet we say to you Dear One, that if the path were laid before you, you would simply just forget. Forget all that you came here to be, forget all that you came here to learn. You would simply go from point A to point B without traveling the road that gets you there. And as you have heard so many times in this human incarnation, it is all about the journey and indeed that is the greatest truth for humanity. For if you did not forget, there would not be the journey. And it is through the journey that so much growth and learning comes from the human school. And that is the great benefit of the human school. Growth comes at a great depth for those who choose to move forward in their lives, for the challenges of being human, of squeezing all your massive, beautiful Soul self into that slow vibrating, dense, physical body – doing of all of that means that the challenges are there. The challenges of being human and the challenges of learning to manage your way in a world that is not full of compassion like your heavenly home.
And so we say to you Dear One, that the forgetting is the reason for coming. And having said that, humanity now is moving into a position where it has never been before. So, the forgetting in the past was so enormous and so deep that humanity found itself carrying out acts and activities that it could never possibly have imagined doing in another realm. But, being in the dense Earthly energies has brought this about as humanity was swayed into despair, and those times are now disappearing behind you, becoming only history, soon, hopefully, to be forgotten all together as humanity moves forward now into these new enlightened energies - moves forward in to being more compassionate and more loving, and so you may find more and more that you are remembering the truth of who you are. You are remembering the Divine aspect of who you are. You are remembering that you are brothers and sisters here – souls sharing a human planet. And so, in these times ahead, the remembering will bring you to a new place of understanding, a place where you can connect with more of your Divine form while remaining human. But this could not have happened without the history of forgetting. Because in this game that has been called planet Earth, with humans walking this planet, it was dispensed from the Creator that this would be one where no interference would be allowed. That humanity would be given the opportunity to make their choices and to create the gameboard as they went along. And so there was a time when it looked like the game had failed and there was nothing but hopelessness laying before humanity. But in these new times, it has been revealed that human kind saved themselves - saved themselves from destruction on this planet and thus all of the heavens rejoice as we witness humanity moving forward in these times - forward into grace. And though, when you look about you and you look around you, in this year of 2010 and you think, “Where is the grace?”, trust us Dear Ones. Trust us. It is just below the surface. Like alcohol burning, once the flame dies away, only the purity of the original essence is left and so that is what is happening on the Earth at this time, is that the last vestiges of the dense energies are being burned away. For some it means choosing to pass over to the other side. For some it means apparent tragedy in their lives so that they can make better choices, even if it seems that those choices have been forced upon them. For some it seems to be apparent disaster in the natural world, but it is all for the purpose of the final cleansing before humanity moves forward into light and love and joy and peace and compassion for all.
And understand Dear One, that old systems must die away to allow new systems to come forth, and like a forest fire, very often it is new growth that begins after the fire, as the old seeds were burned away. It is never inappropriate. It is always the way it is meant to be so that when the old dies away, new seeds that have been lying dormant for eons of time may find their way to the surface and grow and flourish in a totally new environment. And that is what is presenting itself to humanity at this time.
And so, in all the apparent tragedy and darkness we encourage you and all those who believe in the light, to see only grace and a Divine plan at work, and to understand and to have compassion for those who are going through difficult times, that this is the way their soul has chosen to move forward in these times. And to offer them compassion and understanding and to guide them with as much clarity as you possibly can, that through the darkness the light shines forth as old energy systems die and new ones are allowed to flourish and grow as the new energy becomes apparent on the Earth. This is a time of cleansing in preparation for the great, new, Divine, compassionate, loving, human existence.

QuestionAnswered

I want to share with you the first question and answer that was received for my Lovespeak project that I am so excited about (learn more at www.rashana.ca). I feel that this is totally on track with what I am to be doing at this time and the answers that are coming through are very moving. Have a look ... and join the project by sending a question ...

With this tragic oil spill in the Gulf causing such destruction of our ocean and disruption of our eco-system, my question is simple. Will the governing authorities of the world realize that we must turn to alternate sources of renewable energy NOW and stop stripping our earth of its natural resources. Will the people that depend on the oil industry for their livelihood realize that being without a job is better than being without life as we know it. This doom overwhelms me and I weep for our ocean friends.

Dearest Daughter of the Light. Dearest Soul who resonates with love and joy so pure. It is an honor and a pleasure to be called before you this day to answer this question. And so it is we say to you Dear One, that the way of the world is not that the governments make decisions to be honorable and righteous but that the people of the world make demands of the government so that they have no other choice. And so it is with this oil spill that the people are crying out – the people are making demands of the government of the day that the company responsible for this devastation be held responsible and thus you see the millions of dollars in fines that are being laid out to this company. And so know that the governing responses will not happen without the outcry and the demands of the people that things change – that their beautiful Earth not be destroyed for the sake of a false economy that is tabled around the oil industry. For indeed, there are many other choices and those choices will come forward in the days and years ahead more and more rapidly as the people of the Earth make demands that a more sustainable and a healthier version of energy resources for all come forward.
And so we say to you Dearest Daughter of the Light, to rest your heart in knowing that this great disaster was necessary to wake up humanity. It was necessary to create the ire in the people that they would make demands of the government that things will change. It was necessary to look at the way of the operations of pulling oil from your Earth have been functioning for the last many, many decades. And so indeed it is time for it to stop. And it can stop in a moment because so many alternatives are available. And so we say to you, the people of the Earth, to make demands for the alternatives to be brought forward, for there are stories that lie in truth about alternatives being destroyed so that the oil industry could survive and no longer shall that be tolerated. And no longer shall that be appropriate for the way of the Earth. For the time has come. We are in new energies and so new sources of energy are also available. It is time for new ideas to be supported as they come forward and it is time for the truth to be revealed around the secrets that have been held from humanity for so long and we say to you Dear One, to stay out of fear as you see new resources coming forward. For some of them may seem unreal – may seem almost like magic but the truth is that they are based on simple principles that have been available to humanity for many, many years but they have been kept secret and hidden so that the powering forces could maintain control using fear and lack.

Yours is a society that is ready to shift to one of abundant thinking; to shift to prosperity for all and to one where those who work in the oil industry will have nothing to fear of losing jobs or losing income. It is going to change. At the same time human resistance determines that all change will come from an empire falling, as has happened so many times in the past. It seems that an empire must fall before a new one may be built based on different standards. And so, with this oil spill, as devastating as it is for much of the Earth’s creatures and the oceans, there are creatures that are willing to support the cleansing and the clearing of the energies and the devastation that is suppressing the ocean at this time with the spill. It was necessary and, believe us when we tell you that it was a less harmful alternative than what Mother Earth could have done if she had to use her power to bring about this understanding in a more aggressive manner. And so as you see the devastation, also understand that it was once again Gaia, Mother Earth, showing compassion for humanity in the way that this has been brought about. For as devastating as this has been, the cost to humanity and to human life has been minimized through this and now we ask that humanity return the act of compassion by demanding that alternatives be found for sources of energy. (To clarify, the oil spill has led us to wake up to the oil industry and no longer can we turn a blind eye to its impact on the Earth. I had the sense that the alternative would have been severe Earth changes).
And so it is that we leave you now with the deepest gratitude for the privilege of sharing this information with you and we hope that it has given you some peace and understanding of this situation.

Do you ever wish you could get answers ‘from above’ to the big questions in your life? This may be your chance.

We are currently in times of great transition for the earth and all of humanity. For many this appears as troubled times, both in people’s personal lives and for Mother Earth herself.

Today my soul is filled with joy and delight. More and more in these new energies I find myself in a place of peace, contentment and acceptance ~ acceptance of what is and full and complete compassionate acceptance of who I am. It is new for me to have this compassion for myself even when I see what some may consider shortcomings. I see what is there, I understand where it comes from, I am aware that I would like to move through it and I forgive myself for not being there yet. I also understand that the more I love myself in this way, the easier it will be to move forward.

The world if full of grace and just for today it feels like I am walking in that grace. Such a blessing.

And so it is with great love that we are called before you this day, to offer this message of loving kindness to all who find themselves reading these words. And we would like to say to you Dear Ones, that the greatest gifts that the universe has to offer you are waiting to be received at this time. All one needs to do to receive these gifts is to ask and believe they are on their way. For those who have been serving humanity are to be rewarded in these times and the gifts of heaven are to be bestowed upon those who have been walking the difficult trail, offering their generous spirits for the betterment of all mankind. And we say to you Dear Ones that your service will be rewarded in the days and months to come and your kindness and compassion will not go unnoticed. It is in these times of great transformation that you will find yourselves rewarded and blessed in ways that you never thought possible.

In these times of apparent hardship we ask you to keep your eyes focused on the Light and to turn your backs on the darkness. For, with each soul that is focusing ahead on what is possible for this Earth, 100 souls focused on hatred and war are nullified. It is your Light that will keep the spark of awareness alive as humanity evolves into the most splendid journey ever taken.

Find each other. Support each other and love one another.

InTheFlow

Today is a great day and it has showed me how to be 'in the flow'. I just bought a new computer that I very much needed. I have been telling the universe that I would like a new laptop for $500 and planning to save to get it. As it turns out, having started a new job 2 weeks ago, I ended up with an extra week's pay that I could use for the purchase. Then, in the flyers,I saw a computer on sale for $550 ~ pretty close to what I asked for. The beautiful piece of serendipity is that when I got to cash it was $50 less than advertised - even to the surprise of the sales clerk - making the total cost ..... $500!!! I decided to buy the computer today because a mercury retrograde starts tomorrow (information which just came to me today) and mercury retrogrades are not a good time to buy equipment because it may have a history of breaking down. As it turns out, when I got to the store they had only one computer left for this sale, so had I not made my purchase today it may not have been available.

What I have realized from all of this is that when we follow our inner promptings then the universe can bring us what we ask for. We have to listen and not intellectualize or we may miss the opportunities. Things indeed are materializing faster than ever before it seems, so pay attention and enjoy the playful art of creation.

To all who look for updates, my apologies for the time lapse. Many new beginnings in my life this year ~ a new car (after a minor accident), a new roommate (after my former roommate left quickly) and, starting next week, a new job ... Whew! Fortunately, all change leads to something better.

Here is what LoveSpeak has to offer today ...
It is with love of ourselves that we allow life to flow to us and our dreams to come true. For many, it is considered selfishness or greed to love oneself and have one's desires fulfilled. Nothing could be further from the truth. Loving oneself and allowing a truly abundant and fulfilling life to flow into one's field, is the greatest gift that we can offer to humanity, for then we are walking a path of joy and our hearts radiate love and contentment for all to feel. Indeed, every thought is a thing - every thought is a creation that resonates throughout the planet. So, go ahead and believe in every heart's desire that you have and believe they will come true. This is the way of the new world. This is the beginning of creation.

When I sit down to write these posts I ask my higher guidance what wants to present itself at this time. Here is what came forth today. Greetings to those who live in apparent struggle and to those who have moved above to see the light that shines above the clouds. We invite you this day to view the world like the light above the clouds. Yes, it can be stormy and rainy below the clouds, but, if you are flying in an airplane and you rise above the clouds, the sun is always shining there. If you can be in the rainy days knowing that the sun is still shining above the clouds, perhaps it will help you get through those days, knowing that the light has never left, it is just clouded over. You can't see it now but it is still there. Go forward dear humans knowing that what you witness with your human eyes can be deceiving. It is the eyes of the heart that tell the truth.

It is not always ours to understand what is happening to others. Ours is to understand ourselves and our journey in this life. So, ask within your own heart what the meaning is of this and that in your life and trust that the answer can be very simple.

The Love That Lies Within

How is it that we have gone so long without seeing it? Always searching ... yearning ... striving to find that which lies within by looking without. We cannot see it before us, so when we search outside we never find it. Can you see what is in your heart? Perhaps a glimpse by looking into the heart of another who shares your dreams ~ your desires ~ your passion and compassion. A glimpse may be there for you to see, but the truth lies within. True love, true wisdom, be-ing without desire - that comes from the Soul connected to the Great One. Therein lies the truth! Therein is love!

A Prayer for Compassion

Dear God, Precious Creator, I sit before you today
with an open heart.

I ask you to fill my life with the abundance of
understanding and compassion.

As I look into another's eyes may I see a piece of myself there;
the part of myself that wants only to be loved and cherished.

Help me to see who I Am ~ a reflection of the Divine.

Each moment is an opportunity to bring loving
abundance to the Earth.

Open my heart so that it may reflect your Love.

And all is well ....

Loving Ourselves

Sometimes loving ourselves comes through offering loving kindness to someone else, but it is all love of self. By offering love to others we are truly loving ourselves. We give to others only as much as we have to give to ourselves. For those who find it difficult to think of loving the self, look at how you offer love to others. Is it unconditional, gratefully given just for the sake of doing so? Or does it have conditions? Does the other person have to behave a certain way or dress a certain way for you to love them and feel proud to be with them?

The answers to this question are revealing how much love you have for yourself. By accepting others just as they are, we can begin to accept ourselves in the same way. We are all sacred Beings walking this Earth in search of love. Let's be kind to each other so it is easier to see.

Delayed Effects

A couple of days ago I received a beautiful email from a former neighbour telling me how much I affected her life with my spiritual presence and how she is ready to pursue her spiritual self after the loss of her brother. It was a great reminder that we can change the world one person at a time. We are impacting everyone who crosses our path and the very earth that we walk upon with every thought. I think another poem is calling:

THE EYES OF LOVE
The eyes of love look upon your Soul like
the sun awakening the dawn of a new day.

The eyes of love look into your heart to
witness the beauty that lies within.

The eyes of love reveal your pain with
understanding and compassion.

Look carefully to see the glory of who you are,
for the eyes of love have no judgement.

Fearlessness?

A few days ago my wise and wonderful yoga instructor and sacred friend, Mandee, stated in yoga class that "Fear is Love." Indeed. Fear is love searching for itself... The searching is within, for that is truly where love comes from.

This Valentine's Day may we find that love that we so yearn for not within a paper heart, not from what someone else does to prove their love, but within the deepest recesses of our hearts where true love resides. The love of self. For it is from that pool of love that we give to others. May we find the peace in our hearts today to fill that pool of love for self and to share with all who cross our paths.

Here We Go!

I am quite surprised to find myself here, writing my first post for my blog. I have never read a blog in my life except for a brief sentence here and there. Promptings from the heart have brought me here as I journey into the world of global communication.

There are times when I sit in meditation and the love that comes through for me moves me to tears and I began to feel that these words could offer comfort to others as well. Actually, it is a feeling, in some way, that LoveSpeak is what I came to do. And so here the journey begins with a simple poem as I play and learn what this world of blogging is all about.

AWAKEN

Sacred heart, do you not see the beauty that lies within your soul?
The truth that you seek is within yourself.
The love that you so deeply yearn for is already yours ~ waiting to be awakened.
Let your fears slip away and claim your Light.
Come out of the dream ~ it is your Divine right to be whole.
